There are moments in life when something deep inside you whispers: It’s time to build what you’ve been searching for.
For me, Solutus Lifestyle was born from that exact moment. Not out of a business plan, but from a deep, spiritual calling to create — not just with my hands, but with intention, connection, and freedom.
I had always felt there was something missing in the way the world approached clothing. The fast pace, the disposability, the disconnect between garment and soul — none of it felt aligned with the kind of life I was craving. I wanted more than just beautiful pieces. I wanted meaning. I wanted to create something that felt like a return — to self, to slowness, to truth.
That’s why I opened the Solutus Sewing Studio.
This space isn’t just where garments are made — it’s where stories are woven. It’s a space of ritual, where each thread, cut, and seam is handled with reverence. Here, we don’t chase mass production or perfectionism. We move slowly, intentionally, and with love.
Our studio is based in the beautiful city of Cape Town, nestled in a community where I have the honour of working alongside local women — women who bring skill, grace, and spirit to each piece they help create. It’s collaborative. It’s intimate. It’s personal.
There’s a quiet kind of magic in being able to walk into your studio, hear the hum of the machine, smell fresh fabric, and know that what you’re creating matters — not just to you, but to someone else who will wear it and feel seen.
Through this studio, I’ve reclaimed not only the art of clothing, but the art of living in alignment with purpose.
Through Solutus, I’ve found a way to express freedom — in form, in flow, in fabric.
And my hope is that every woman who wears a Solutus piece feels that freedom too.
This is more than fashion.
This is slow creation. This is storytelling. This is sacred.
This is home.
